Highlights

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That’s because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights, not to mention black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. There’s a very good chance you’ll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Remember your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It’s a place of beautiful savannah landscapes with lots of acacia trees.

When it comes to visiting the Masai Mara, Pride Inn Mara Camp, overlooking the Talek River, is a memorable place. Accommodation here includes a mix of luxury cottages and tents decked out in earth colors and with a real sense of style. You can expect excellent food, and you might even see hippos from your vantage point in the swimming pool. Ample grounds and a spa center are also part of the deal.

Enjoy having more time in the Mara at Pride Inn Mara Camp. Explore the Masai Mara National Reserve with us on a guided game drive. Big cats, elephants and classic safari landscapes are all possible, and your expert guide will help you make the most of your time here.

Highlights

In the Northern Serengeti, you’ll see wildlife in a beautiful setting, with not many other people around. There are animals here throughout the year, but they’re everywhere when the migration passes. The scenery in this part of the park is also superb, with plenty of Serengeti savannah grasslands between the rocky hills and Mara River.

You’ll love the Northern Serengeti all the more because of where you’ll stay: Baobab Serengeti Camp. This luxury tented camp perfectly captures the wilderness feel of the Serengeti’s north. It’s a special place to be at any time, but especially if the great migration is passing through. Excellent safari tents and a welcoming dining and lounge area all look out on the surrounding savannah. Keep an eye out in case a lion or elephant passes by.

Highlights

Explore the Northern Serengeti and deepen your knowledge of this wonderful area of the park. Stay in wood-floored safari tents at Embalakai Serengeti Camp, and listen to the wildlife that is present in such numbers in this part of the Serengeti. There are very few other camps in the area, which means there are many more animals than people. The camp, with a dining tent, is close to the river and surrounded by savannah.

Highlights

When people dream of the Serengeti, it’s probably the Central Serengeti they dream of. That’s because you’re in the perfect place to see all that the Serengeti has to offer, and this is the area of the park where wildlife is present in the biggest numbers. It’s filled with acacia trees and those Serengeti horizons that seem to go on forever.

In a wonderfully quiet setting surrounded by trees, Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp has one of the most tranquil locations in the Ngorongoro area. Here, you’ll sleep in safari tents with rustic wooden furnishings and fine views. The public area, with a bar and dining area, looks out over the treetop canopy, and you’re well-placed for trips into the crater or to a nearby Maasai village.

Highlights

Ngorongoro is a special place, and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor, is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger-than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. However, it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory.

From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world. You’re in for one of the best safari experiences you can have on your guided game drive through the Ngorongoro Crater. As you explore the crater floor, your guide will help you look for lions, black rhinos, spotted hyenas, and more.
