Depart Saigon for My Tho (located in the heart of the Mekong Delta). Upon your arrival in My Tho, take a boat on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Ben Tre. After enjoying honey tea and fresh tropical fruits in a local garden, enjoy a short local coach drive before a very romantic sampan through a water coconut forest to return to your big boat. In the morning, pick up and transfer to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex – an important place of pilgrimage for all Vietnamese. View outside of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday) – where the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh is preserved. Continue to Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts – built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic regions, surrounded by verdant and peaceful gardens, One Pillar Pagoda – first built in the 11th century, of wood on a single stone pillar resembling a lotus blossom, the symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Then you will transfer to the Luxury shopping mall to rest and have free time for lunch. Afternoon, move to visit the Old Quarters where you can experience the real daily life activities of local people in the oldest area of Ha Noi for around 30 minutes on the interesting electric car or cyclo with stopovers at Opera House – a very famous site to take photos and enjoy the Old Quarter streets. Enjoy a cup of egg coffee, an enchanting drink with a special taste that just can be found in Ha Noi. Continue wandering the neighborhood to feel the daily life here. Back to the hotel.
